Lancaster City Museum will receive £94,056 from the Government’s Arts Everywhere Fund, part of a £127.8 million investment in cultural venues across the country.
This funding will help secure the museum’s future, improve access for local people, and ensure this much-loved local gem continues to celebrate Lancaster’s rich history for years to come.
Our arts and cultural spaces are at the heart of our community, they bring people together and showcase what makes Lancaster so special.
There are many other wonderful cultural venues across our area that also deserve support, and I’m working closely with several of them to help access funding and grant opportunities so they can continue serving our community.
I’m proud that this Government is investing in our city’s heritage and backing the cultural institutions that matter to us most.
