Cat attends the final service at Hollins Lane Methodist Church
Last weekend I attended the final service at Hollins Lane Methodist Church. For over 200 years it has been a much-loved part of the community, a place of worship, welcome, and togetherness.
Its closure marks a sad moment for many, and as a Methodist myself, I feel this loss deeply. I want to thank the ministers, stewards, volunteers, musicians, and congregation who kept the church alive for so long.
While Hollins Lane is closing, its legacy lives on in the lives it has touched and the community it has sustained. The Hollins Lane congregation will be joining their friends in Dolphinholme and I wish you all the best of luck on this journey.
