In a letter to the Chief Executives for Wyre Council and Lancashire County Council, which you can read below, I am calling for major transport improvements to support residents in Garstang and the wider Wyre area.
With more homes being built locally, it’s vital that infrastructure keeps pace. I’m urging local authorities to work together on plans for a new M6 junction and to explore the reopening of a railway station to serve Garstang, helping to reduce congestion, improve connectivity, and support our growing communities.
