I’ve been supporting residents who are struggling with access across Borrowdale Road in Lancaster. This can be challenging to cross due to the blind bend on Ullswater Road.
I’m pleased that following my request, Lancashire County Council have committed to installing a new mobility crossing point on Borrowdale Road, close to the Post Office.
The council say this will provide good visibility and improved access for wheelchair users, who will be able to see approaching traffic from both directions.
