As many of you will know, I have been valiantly trying to get a solution to the missing postbox on Quernmore Road, working with the Minister for Postal Affairs and battling with Royal Mail who refuse to replace it, and lobbying the Co-Op to work with Royal Mail.
Unfortunately, the Co-Op have come back to my requests to say that they have no plans to place a postbox at their store.
I’m deeply disappointed that residents will continue to be poorly served, and that private companies won’t come together for the benefit of customers.
