I am grateful to have had the opportunity to visit the Slavery Family Tree’s Research Exhibition at Lancaster City Museum this past weekend before it’s run ended.
Lancaster Black History Group, Lancaster University, UCLAN and Lancaster Museums collaborated to tell the story of the area’s link to transatlantic slavery. With this project they hope to transform the future by facing the past.
It was absolutely fascinating, I commend everyone that contributed to this exhibition and thank you Sunita Abraham for giving me a guided tour.
