I was delighted on Friday to visit a new shop in Fleetwood called Reduce and Rejoice on Poulton Street – an eco-refill store where you can buy what you need (spices, herbs, sweets, rice, porridge – the list is endless) at a fraction of the cost of buying in bulk. Or you can take in a bottle to be refilled (with shampoo, conditioner, detergent etc) and do your bit to reduce plastic waste. I wish Michelle and Matthew much success with their new venture – it’s a brilliant idea and a welcome addition to Fleetwood’s independent retail sector. I bought a bamboo toothbrush and I’ll be regularly popping in!
