We spoke about the worsening situation surrounding waiting lists across Lancashire, and those who are desperate for care being forced to go private, which can be a huge financial strain that a lot of families will struggle to cover.
I also shared my views on the ways in which the Government could take action and improve this nightmare situation. We need change now and fast! The lack of dentistry access is so severe that constituents are telling me they are performing their own procedures, doing makeshift fillings and pulling their own teeth out to relieve pain – this is barbaric by any standards!
I can assure you that I’m still plugging away at trying to fix NHS dentistry at every given opportunity!
